TBPI® controls ion polarity and timing to target selected contaminant classes while reducing immediate positive/negative ion recombination near the emitter. TBPI® (Targeted Bipolar Pulsed Ionization) is a registered trademark of Aeiro, LLC, used by permission.
Designed for duct mounting. Ideal for complex duct setups and zone systems downstream of a VAV box, where closer-to-space installation can improve useful ion density.
General IAQ fail-safe: when Wi-Fi is not connected or monitoring subscription is inactive, the unit operates in General IAQ mode with equal positive/negative ion timing and fixed pulse delay. If power is lost, the unit resumes from the last commanded setting.
The ASHRAE 62.1 Indoor Air Quality Procedure provides a project-specific pathway for evaluating outside-air rates. C6 Pulse + carbon filtration may be considered as part of an IAQP analysis, subject to appropriate engineering and application review. Installing AEIRO does not by itself authorize an outside-air reduction.
